Stygobiont.
Karstic aquifers and phreatic zones in alluvial plains of Ain, Isère, Rhône, maybe Drôme and Ardèche. Les Hoteaux emergence, near Rossillon, Ain. Altitude ≈ 380m. 2,7mm.
There is hardly any microsculpture. When visible, especially on the last whorl, it is made of weak spiral striae crossed by thin radial folds. Protoconch smooth.

Variation in the convexity of the worls in the population of Les Hoteaux, Rossillon. 2,4-2,75mm.
Convex whorls come together with a rounded aperture; flatter whorls generate a more ovate aperture, with a less undulating labial margin. 2,2-2,5mm.
Large specimen from the Pissoir cave-river, Torcieu, Ain. Altitude ≈ 310m. 3,1mm.
