(?)Islamia germaini Boeters & Falkner, 2003

Known distribution: La Grozonne karst spring, at Grozon, Jura, W. France. The species is named after the french malacologist Louis Germain (1878-1942).
Above and below: specimens collected in sediments at the spring. Altitude ≈ 265m. Size: 1,5mm.
The species was described after conchological characters only, which amounts to saying that Islamia germaini has no validity at all. It could just easily be moquiniana again…
