Fissuria boui Bœters, 1981

Stygobiont. Underflow of riverbed (Durance) and maybe living in subterranean rivers in Vaucluse, Gard, Bouches-du-Rhône and possibly Alpes-Maritimes.
The spire is weakly conical, with the whorls separated from each other by a marked sutural furrow; the aperture is ovate (symmetry line horizontal in front view) with the minor focus on labial side; umbilicus wide. Microsculpture made up of numerous thin and weak commarginal growth lines. Above: underflow of Durance river, Cavaillon, Vaucluse. 1,4mm. Altitude ≈ 70m.
Animal translucent, operculate. As the species lives in hyporheic habitats, it is exposed to valley pollutions and river eutrophications. Same spot. 1,3mm.
