Bythinella geisserti Boeters & Falkner, 2003

Crenobiont. Known distribution: karst spring of the river Loue, Ouhans, Doubs, E. France.
 
Previously considered by Boeters as belonging to abbreviata Michaud, these animals have a shell similar to that of B. cylindracea (Paladilhe, 1869) but with a more expanded aperture in adult specimens. – Source de la Loue. Altitude ≈ 525m. Size of this shell: 3,8mm.
