Cuspidaria cuspidata (Olivi, 1792)
Norway to Angola, Madeira and atlantic seamounts to Mediterranean. Infralittoral to upper slope, in various soft bottoms, often with a noticeable part of mud. Predator on mobile preys. Original taxon: Tellina cuspidata.
Synonyms: brevirostra, crassa, and typica, typus.
