Crenella arenaria

Azores to central Mediterranean. Intertidal to upper shelf.
The species differs from pellucida by its slightly more marked concentric sculpture, the less prominent umbones, the shape strongly inequilateral; and from decussata by the absence of radials. – 100m deep, Saronic gulf, Attikí, Greece. 1,5mm.
Prodissoconches very close to each other, and not inclined toward a side. Microsculpture clearly visible.
Notice the crenulate cardinal tooth.
