Original taxon: Turbo lacteus.
Synonyms: campanellae, costulata, elegantissimus, turritella… Sacco gives a great number of pointless variants.

Shell conical. Protoconch of type B. Whorls a little convex; radials opisthocline, slightly sinusoid, separated by deep and narrow furrows, rapidly vanishing at the periphery of the last whorl. – 50m deep, Scilla, Calabria, SW. Italy. 5mm.
