Mediterranean.
Ectoparasit in the infralittoral.
 
Shell conical, with a narrow base. Protoconch of type A planispiral. Whorls flat. Radials straight, opisthocline, vanishing slightly above the periphery of the last whorl. – 30m deep, on dettritic bottom, off Antignano, Livorno, Toscana, W. Italy. 4,5mm. Displayed with a small lactea from the same spot.
4m deep, on detritic bottom at the foot of the citadel, south of the harbour, Methóni, Messinia, SW. Peloponnese, SW. Greece. 4,7mm.
Young specimen. Same spot. 3mm.
Notice the A-planispiral protoconch.
Specimens from SW. Turkey. 8m deep, Bodrum, Muğla province. 4,35-4,5mm.
