Scavenger in the infralittoral.
Original taxon: Nassa tingitana.
2m deep, in calcareous algae, Algeciras, Cádiz, Andalucia, S. Spain. 8mm.
« Shell very elongated for the genus. Spire protruding. Whorls 8; the first 3 smooth, the others sculpted with longitudinal ribs and deeply carved transverse striae. In the penultimate whorl, we count 9 ribs and 5 streaks. Aperture small, the upper part angular, the lower part ending in a short tail. Labrum internally grooved, thickened externally.
