Cantabrian Sea to Canarias, to Mediterranean. Scavenger in the low infralittoral (rare), on the continental shelf and slope.

« Shell oval, ventricose, acuminated, and cancellated with longitudinal ribs and transverse elevated striae; aperture roundish and effuse. Synonyms: limatum, praelonga, scalariforme.
