Scaliola elata Issel, 1869
W. Indian Ocean, Red Sea, eastern Mediterranean.
 
The shell of this species is very close to that of Scaliola arenosa A. Adams, 1862, but reaches larger sizes (2,7mm vs. 1,5mm on vieoceane website). Variable in shape, as many Scaliolidae, and prone to deformities (see Jousseaume).
