Raphitoma papillosa (Pallary, 1904)
Tunisia.
Predator in the infralittoral, often inside or around meadows of Zostera noltei, a small eelgrass associated with quiet waters.
Original taxon: Philbertia papillosa.
 
« Shell elongated, fusiform, with deep suture; spire high; whorls 7: including 2 smooth apicals and 5 normal, convex ones, latticed with numerous longitudinal ribs and lamellar descending funicles. Height of the last whorl greater than the length of the the spire. Aperture suboval; columella straight. Canal fairly long, open; labrum rounded, thickened and denticulate inside, sutural sinus narrow but well marked. A pale subadult collected at 1m deep, under stones, Jerba island. 7mm.
