The shell is similar to that of R. densa (Monterosato, 1884), but with a paucispiral protoconch. « Teleoconch of 7-8 convex whorls. Axial sculpture of 20-24 ribs, and interspaces from 1 to 1.5 as wide as the ribs. Spiral sculpture of 8-10 cordlets above the aperture. Sometime one supplementar secondary cordlet can occur. Outer lip with 11-14 elongated inner denticles. Siphonal fasciole with 9-10 nodulose cords.
