Mediterranean.
Predator in the upper infralittoral.
Original taxon: Mitra granum.
2-4m deep, on rocks, Isola Rossa, NW. Corsica. 4-5,1mm.
The patterns are clearly different from those found on tricolor.
Synonyms: littoralis, carnea, picta.

The whorls are smooth, while they are a bit costate in tricolor.
