« Shell […] lenticular, relatively thick-walled. Protoconch […] weakly heterostrophic. Teleoconch […] yellowish, sculpture consisting of spiral ribs crossed by slightly weaker, near-orthocline axial ribs, forming granules at intersections and conferring a reticulated appearance. Upper side and peripheral base slightly convex. Aperture circular; easily distinguishable peripheral keel formed by a strong lower peripheral rib; upper peripheral rib strength similar to that of subsutural rib.
