Pseudosimnia carnea (Poiret, 1789)
Azores to Mediterranean, Cantabrian Sea to Canarias, to Sénégal (Fehse & al., 2010). Predator on Polyps (red coral, gorgonians) in the circalittoral and the continental shelf, occasionally in some twilight zones of the infralittoral.
Original taxon: Bulla carnea.

The average form of this species is more inflated and less rostrated than in the extreme variant ex forma “angusta” Celzard, and less rhomboid than in juanjosensii, the other species of Pseudosimnia that live in syntpoy with carnea.
