| Central Mediterranean. Predator in the infralittoral-circalittoral. Original taxon: Mangelia sicula. Protoconch multispiral, very slender (here, broken). The fist whorls of the teleoconch show some angled shoulder at their periphery; the following ones become rounded, somewhat gibbous. Radial sculpture slightly undumating, orthocline, with a thin spiral microribbing that appears between the radials. | The suture is marked, the spiral striae very numerous. The colour varies from chestnut-brown (Reeve) to that orange. |
