Central Mediterranean.
Predator in the circalittoral.
 
Protoconch paucispiral, with 5 spiral cordlets. Teleoconch: whorls 6 at adult stage, well rounded, with, on the last one, 8 marked radial costae crossed by 7 narrow spiral cords, the spirals running above the radials; the costae, which are not systematically aligned from whorl to whorl, disappear at the suture and reappear immediately after; aperture narrow, oval, elongated; presence of a slight columellar callus; labrum internally denticulated; siphonal canal long and thin.
