Azores to Cantabrian Sea, to Mediterranean.
Original taxon: Eulima microstoma ibizenca.
 
According to A. Warén (1981), the species is ectoparasite of the large sea-star Astropecten aranciacus (Linnaeus, 1758), which lives on sandy bottoms of the infralittoral and circalittoral, down to about 100m deep (DORIS). Shell conical, with a very small aperture, a little prominent laterally, and a rather straight labial margin, slightly opisthocline. Whorls fairly flat. The false suture and the labial scar can develop various configurations.
