Turbonilla pygmaea in S. Brusina, 1865: « The smallest of our local species, turreted and white. It has 7 whorls, which are rounded and convex, divided by a deep suture, with about 18 longitudinal arched folds separated by large interspaces; it is devoid of transversal striae; the aperture is ovate, the columella is semi-straight and has a small fold; the apex is obtuse. It differs from all the other species by its smallness, to be more turriculate, for the very rounded and less numerous whorls, for the arcuate folds and for the obtuse apex. »
