Ectoparasit in the infralittoral.
 
Shell conical, ziggurat-shaped. Protoconch of type B. Teleoconch: whorls flat, separated from each other by a well marked sutural ramp, with a radial sculpture of numerous ribs, slightly opisthocline, rather straight, wide and not much elevated, which « extend a little, strongly attenuated, on the base » (Micali, Nofroni & Perna, 2012); some spirals of shallow pits, visible between the ribs, appear in the last whorls; base weakly striated by other spirals « at the termination of the axial ribs »; aperture showing a water droplet section, acute adapically, flat externally, rounded at its base; presence of one columellar fold.
