British Isles to Canarias, Azores to Mediterranean.
Ectoparasit in the infralittoral down to bathyal depths.
 
Protoconch of type B; whorls poorly convex; extremely weak spiral sculpture; thin radial folds especially near the lip; columellar tooth visible, « mostly observable in half-grown specimens » (Jeffreys); no umbilicus.

On the shore, Málaga, Andalucia, S. Spain. 1,6-2,1mm.
