Ectoparasit in the infralittoral down to bathyal depths.
 
The shell is a rather stocky, rounded, with thin opisthocline growth-lines and no columellar tooth. The umbilicus is reduced to a small and narrow slit. The species was hitherto found at considerable depths. – Specimen from intertidal shell grit, Punta del Carnero, Algeciras, Andalucia, S. Spain. 1,2mm.
