Mediterranean. Ectoparasit in the infralittoral.
 
Protoconch of type B. Teleoconch: whorls not very convex, with sparse spiral striae crossed by orthocline to slightly prosocline growth lines; presence of a marked subsutural furrow; columella with a central fold; no umbilicus. On front view, the last whorl occupies 60% of the total height.

The subsutural sulcus is one characteristic, the very weak or absent spiral sculpture is another, but those features are not specific. The shell of kromi is close to that of, for example, improbabilis. It differs mainly from the latter by it less prosocline radials. – Washed ashore empty shell collected in tide pool, La Franqui, Leucate, Occitania, S. France. 1,3mm.
