Ocenebra hispidula (Pallary, 1904)

Central to western Mediterranean. Some records from Morocco. Predator on bivalves in the very shallow infralittoral. Synonyms: acanthophorus Monterosato, erroneus… Above and below: 1-2m deep, Bordj-el-Hessar, Kerkennah island, Gulf of Gabes, S. Tunisia. 13,5mm.

Close to edwardsii, but narrower, larger, paler, and with a longer siphonal canal.

1m deep, under rock, Torre delle Stelle, west of Cagliari, SW. Sardinia. 16mm.
