Obesula marisnostri Bouchet, 1985
Mediterranean.
Predator on sponges in the infralittoral-circalittoral.
Teleoconch conical, slightly inflated. Whorls rather flat, separated from each other by a deep suture, somewhat canaliculate. Three granulose spiral cords per whorl, the middle one appearing later. On the last whorl, a fourth spiral cord appears, with weak granulations. Basal cords smooth: external one is visible, internal one is not obvious. The colour is monochrome, of a yellowish white to ochre, depending of the individuals. This is the only mediterranean Triphorid with an unicarinate protoconch.
