« Shell slightly tinged with purple red, adorned with two white lines that bear some angular tawny spots; on the last whorl and towards the umbilicus, a portion of which is covered by the callus, there are small wavy flammules of this last colour; aperture white striped with russet. Sometimes, the arrowhead-shaped spots of the pale bands tend to become undulations on tne area around the umbilicus.
