Ligurian Sea to Eastern Mediterranean.
Scavenger in the circalittoral and the continental shelf.
Original taxon: Planaxis turulosa. Synonym: edwardsi.
On mud at 180-200m deep, off Siracusa, E. Sicily. 15mm.
