Azores to Mediterranean, possibly Canarias.
Predator in the circalittoral.
Original taxon: Pusia karpathensis.
The variations affect the shape, the sculpture, and the colour. The main characteristic is the large pale subsutural band, bordered anteriorly by a spiral arrangement of darker blotches.

Interesting labial repair on this specimen from 25m deep, in sediments, at the base of a rocky wall between Sapri and Acquafredda, Campanian border, SW. Italy. 6,5mm.
