Synonym: versiliensis.
Transition protoconch-teleoconch. Notice the close-set axial ribs that abruptly disappear after the transition. « This new species is easy to recognize from the combination of reticulate larval shell and almost smooth, rissoiform teleoconch. Teleoconch smooth.
