Western Sahara to Mediterranean. Predator in the infralittoral. Original taxon: Marginella philippii. Synonym: minuta Philippi.
Slightly subadult specimen collected in grit at 5m deep, on sand, Palaiokastritsa harbour, NW. Corfu. 2,8mm.
This is the most triangular of all the white little mediterranean Gibberulae. Alive, on small rocks in shallow water, Efthalou, Mytilini island (Lesvos), NE. Aegean. 2,5mm.
Cap Ras, Llançà, Girona, Catalunya, NE. Spain. 2,7mm.
Immature specimens from the cove of Mas Caials, Cadaqués, Girona. 2-2,25mm.
Beachstormed Cystiscidae found at Cap d’Agde, S. France. Some philippii inside. Sizes circa 2-3mm. R. Huet legit (FR).
