Diodora graeca (Linnaeus, 1758)
British Isles to Canarias, Madeira to Mediterranean.
Predator on sessile preys, from intertidal to lower circalittoral, on rocky substrate. Original taxon: Patella graeca.

Diodora graeca is larger and flatter than D. gibberula, with a heavy cancellate sculpture. Colour mainly white, with more brown than grey, and sometimes a radiating pattern; peristome flat, crenulated; apical opening narrow, gibbous inside, anteriorly placed. – Beachstormed, on left bank, south of the river mouth, Le Grau du Roi, S. France. 17mm.
