Diodora dorsata (Monterosato, 1878)
Capo Verde, Mediterranean. Predator on sessile preys in the circalittoral down to the continental shelf. Original taxon: Fissurella dorsata. Synonyms: miriga, saharica.
 
Slender shape; peristome slightly curved, sculpture made up of numerous fine radial striae crossed by concentric folds, the striae stronger than the folds; apical opening almost oval, markedly anterior. The shell of this species is very close to that of gibberula, but the latter lives in shallower waters. 40m, Scilla, Calabria, SW. Italy. 16mm.
