Dikoleps depressa (Monterosato, 1880)
Western Mediterranean. Micrograzer and deposit feeder in the circalittoral and the continental shelf.
Original taxon: Cyclostrema depressum.
 
« Palermo only, at great depth, together with the two previous species and also rare. It is similar to C. nitens Ph., but it is more depressed, with the mouth cut on the bias and with a wider umbilicus. » – T. A. di Monterosato: “Conchiglie della zona degli abissi”, Bullettino della Società Malacologica Italiana vol. VI, Pisa 1880, p.67. Some spirals run inside the umbilicus (Rubio & al, 2004; Warén, 1992; Gaglini, 1987).
