« Testâ incrassatâ, ovatâ, luteo-fulvâ, laevigatâ, nitidâ; anfractibus quinis subplanis, suturâ obsoletâ, interdùm ultimo anfractu albo unifasciatâ; aperturâ subrotundatâ; labro acuto; columellâ albâ; apice acutiusculo. […] Mr. Gouget, surgeon-major in the 47th of line infantry, who assiduously engages in natural history, and especially in botany, sent me this species. »
