Sculpture made of sharp axial costae crossed by spiral striae of equal strength. A difference with weinkauffi weinkauffi is given by the subsutural plate on each whorl, which is larger in jacobusi, and by the sutural band, deeper and more elevated.

The transition protoconch - teleoconch is abrupt.
